While Samsung refrigerators are among the best-selling in the world, they are not without flaws. This tutorial is for you if you’re wondering “How can I reset my Samsung refrigerator?”
How to tell that you need a reset of your Samsung refrigerator?
When a reset is required, Samsung refrigerators often display fault numbers on the screen to alert users.
A sensor fault (8E), a freezer problem (14E), or a fan error could all be to blame if the fridge detects that ice production has ceased (40E, 40C). The fridge will display OF OF, OFF, OFF OFF, or scrolling temperature bars if it is in Shop/Demo Mode.
Furthermore, refrigerators may fail to produce the proper temperature or may even indicate an incorrect temperature.
Precautions in General
Make sure you know what you’re doing if you’re going to reset your Samsung refrigerator. Before doing anything with the fridge, unplug it from the AC outlet. Also, the compressor in refrigerators contains poisonous fumes, so don’t mess with it.
